Grace Falls Church

Introducing the shore to a Person not a religion.

We at Grace Falls Church want to build a community of gospel-centered people who will bring the hope of Jesus Christ to Atlantic County. We are striving to apply the gospel to our daily life so that the world around us will find the only source of hope and real love.

Sundays are a time to gather together with people that live, work, and play all over Atlantic County and celebrate the good news about Jesus. It's a time to remember the truths that have changed our lives. We firmly believe that our street address is just a building, but when the people gather it's where you find the church!

We meet in a relaxed, casual atmosphere where it is easy to join in. We like to discuss the Bible and what it looks like to apply it to our lives. Whatever your thoughts on church, whatever your beliefs about God, you are welcome here.

TAKE THE FIRST STEP

We would love to connect with you! If you have any questions or if you are interested in learning more about Grace Falls we are open to meeting you to grab a cup of coffee or just give you a call.

Join us at 10:30 on Sunday morning or at any of our upcoming events.

Most of us have encountered Christianity as an organized institution, political affiliation or a social cause. Your experience with church may not have been centered around the good news of God’s grace but we want to change that.

The Gospel Is The Answer For Everything

To be gospel centered is to understand that the “gospel” is not just advice. Jesus work on the cross paves the way for us to both live, and enjoy life as it was always intended to be. A gospel-centered life is a transformed life. The gospel changes everything personally, globally, eternally.

A Gospel Centered Church

The gospel changes who we are and we have come to realize the church is not a building, a weekly obligation, a jury of our peers, or simply a club for the select few. The gospel has created a new people that live as a family of missionary servants who make disciples that make disciples through the flow of everyday life.

A Gospel Centered Community

The gospel changes how we live and it is the reason that we care for each other as brothers and sisters in Christ. Church isn’t what we do or where we go on Sunday mornings, it’s who we are as the body of Christ all week long. Because of the gospel, we now have the resource to live together, forgive one another, and seek the good of our community.

A Gospel Centered Mission

The gospel changes how we see the world around us and it has an impact on both our lives. We cannot stay quiet about what God has done for us, the change in our lives impacts our community and the world, we will boldly proclaim the good news of the gospel to those around us.

We desire to see:

  • The Jersey Shore reconciled to God through the work of Jesus.
  • Our neighborhoods without need.
  • Cities like Atlantic City flourishing, not dying.
  • Missional communities forming along the shore.
  • A growing network of missional communities that introduce South Jersey to the person of Jesus Christ as we love one another and live for the good of the city.
  • New churches planted as missional communities and sent out on mission throughout the Northeast, North America, and the world.

We would love to have you join in and be a part of this new church and be a part of living out the gospel in your life with us.

We Are Not Perfect

We are all a work in progress and we want to welcome you no matter what your story is, how many questions you have or what your doubts and struggles are because we have them too.

We Love Dialogue

This is not a one way conversation. Our pastor does not have a monologue to disperse, you will find our conversation based Gatherings refreshing as we seek to learn from both God and from one another.

Diversity Is Good

We love and embrace diversity and it helps to make us a stronger community of believers. Your background, your culture and your experiences in life are not going to get in the way of us welcoming you into our family.

The Gospel - What It Means to Be a Christian

Being a Christian is more than identifying yourself with a particular religion or affirming a certain value system. Being a Christian means you have embraced what the Bible says about God, mankind, and salvation. Consider the following truths found in the Bible.

God Is Sovereign Creator

Contemporary thinking says man is the product of evolution. But the Bible says we were created by a personal God to love, serve, and enjoy endless fellowship with Him. The New Testament reveals it was Jesus Himself who created everything. Therefore, He also owns and rules everything. That means He has authority over our lives and we owe Him absolute allegiance, obedience, and worship.

(Psalm 103:19 / John 1:3 / Colossians 1:16)

God Is Holy

God is absolutely and perfectly holy; therefore He cannot commit or approve of evil. God requires holiness of us as well. First Peter 1:16 says, You shall be holy, for I am holy.

(Isaiah 6:3 / James 1:13)

Mankind Is Sinful

According to Scripture, everyone is guilty of sin: There is no man who does not sin. That doesn't mean we're incapable of performing acts of human kindness. But we're utterly incapable of understanding, loving, or pleasing God on our own.

(1 Kings 8:46 / Romans 3:10-12)

Sin Demands a Penalty

God's holiness and justice demand that all sin be punished by death. That's why simply changing our patterns of behavior can't solve our sin problem or eliminate its consequences.

(Ezekiel 18:4 / Romans 3:23)

Jesus Is Lord and Savior

Even though God's justice demands death for sin, His love has provided a Savior who paid the penalty and died for sinners. Christ's death satisfied the demands of God's justice, and Christ's perfect life satisfied the demands of God's holiness, thereby enabling Him to forgive and save those who place their faith in Him.

(Romans 3:26, 10:9 / 2 Corinthians 5:21 / 1 Peter 3:18)

The Character of Saving Faith

True faith is always accompanied by repentance from sin. Repentance is agreeing with God that you are sinful, confessing your sins to Him, and making a conscious choice to turn from sin, pursue Christ, and obey Him. It isn't enough to believe certain facts about Christ. Even Satan and his demons believe in the true God, but they don't love and obey Him. True saving faith always responds in obedience.

(Matthew 11:28-30 / Luke 13:3, 5 / John 17:3 / Ephesians 2:10 / 1 Thessalonians 1:9 / James 2:19 / 1 John 2:3).
